Mainstreet Cycles is a unique blend of Pro Shop and family shop.  Scott and crew  pride themselves on friendly knowledgeable service without an elitist attitude.

Beginnings
Having grown up around the joys of bike riding, and being outdoors, it wasn't until a running injury caused me to borrow a friends Schwinn Continental 10 speed to rehab on.   There was no looking back then.  I started hanging out at my local bike shop and discovered that I loved the people, culture and the sport.  Once I began working at the shop, I also developed a knack for the mechanical side of the industry.   Having the shop located next to an Air Force base also meant that I was getting to experience and work on bikes and models from all over the World.  This experience would serve me well when I eventually opened Mainstreet Cycles, as I had a "can do" attitude and had learned to solve my own problems (no you tube or internet then).  
With this rich and varied background, tempered with actual riding and racing experience, Scott Clark and Mainstreet Cycles has become THE destination shop on the Central Coast. Mainstreet Cycles has clients and customers from all over California who seek true skill and expert service, combined with a positive and inspiring personality!

Meet the Team
Jeremy




Tony
​Tony has been in the bike industry since the early eighties, including a stint at a Stratos, a then suspension center.  Tony has massive riding and racing experience and has become the premier mechanic on the Central Coast.  His riding interests are Mountain biking, road riding and he has been a High School Mountain bike coach (NICA) for nine years.

Bob
​Bob comes to Mainstreet Cycles from a racing back ground first, and had worked at his parents Audio Visual store for 20 years.  This tech back ground combined with 20+ years of road racing experience makes Bob a very unique combination of sales and IT guy!

Chuck
Chuck also comes to Mainstreet with the same back ground as Bob, but without the racing.  Chuck brings a nice blend of knowledge, patience and thoroughness to a sometimes chaotic retail world.

Adam
AKA "Allstate", you are truly in good hands.  Adam combines a wonderful Mellinial personallity with awesome communication skills and a genuine desire to make customers happy.  Adam rides Road,  Mountain bikes and Bike commutes whenever possible.  

Danny
​Danny is currently a student at College but is rapidly becoming a very capable mechanic under Tony's direction.  Quiet and capable, Danny is learning to handle whatever repairs come his way.

Nick
Nick to is currently a student and mostly works sales.  Nick has an incredible talent for remembering specs and details and professionally guides customers to exactly the right product for their needs.
